How do we know what type of support we need?
If you’re unsure, that’s completely normal. We help you figure out the right approach, whether that’s a Project, a Flex plan or hosting on its own, based on your goals, timeline and how confident your needs are.
What does working with Simpl actually look like?
Work is structured, collaborative and clearly defined from the start. You’ll always know what’s happening, what’s next and what’s expected, without unnecessary meetings or complexity.
Can we combine options?
Yes. Many clients build or refresh their site through a Project, then move to Flex so that hosting and ongoing changes are handled by the same team.
Can you work with our existing brand or website?
Yes. We can build on what you already have, refine it or evolve it where needed. Not every project requires starting from scratch, sometimes small, thoughtful improvements make the biggest impact.
What happens after a project is complete?
Everything is delivered clearly and ready to use. If you need ongoing support, Flex keeps your site hosted, maintained and improving. If not, you have everything you need to move forward.
What is a Design & Dev Project?
A focused piece of work with a defined scope, clear timeline and agreed outcome, ideal for website builds, brand projects or specific creative initiatives.
How is a Project priced?
Each Project is quoted up front against an agreed scope, so you know exactly what it costs before we start.
How involved do we need to be?
We guide the process, but your input is important at key stages. Typically, this means sharing feedback and making decisions at agreed points, without it becoming time-consuming.
What happens after a project is complete?
We’ll talk it through. Small changes can usually be absorbed; larger ones are scoped as a follow-on Project or moved into a Flex plan.
What is Flex?
Flex combines managed WordPress hosting with a set number of design and development hours every month, used however you need them.
How many hours can I choose?
Any amount from 1 to 12 hours per month. The more hours, the lower the hourly rate.
Is there a long-term contract?
There’s a 90-day minimum, and then it’s month-to-month. After that, move your hours up or down with 30 days’ notice.
Do unused hours carry over?
No, so we’ll help you pick a number that’s right for you rather than one you won’t use.
Can I host with Simpl without a Flex plan?
Yes. Managed Hosting is available on its own, with Standard and Premium plans for sites that just need to be kept fast, secure and stable.
What's included in Managed Hosting?
Daily backups, security monitoring, managed updates tested on staging, uptime monitoring, server-level caching, SSL and Irish-based support.
Is it free to move my site to you?
Yes. Switching is free. We handle the full move from your current provider with no downtime and nothing for you to do.
Can I add design and development time later?
Yes. You can move from hosting only to a Flex plan at any time and keep the same setup.
