After initially building their website in 2018 the Portershed team felt 2023 was an ideal time for a refresh. An opportunity to enhance the user experience, improve visual design, and create engaging content that drives conversions and builds community. With a user centred approach and careful attention to brand identity and messaging, we created a fresh digital experience that sets the co-working space apart in a competitive industry.

The website was designed around the user journey, making it easy for visitors to understand what Portershed offers and how to get involved. Navigation was kept simple and intuitive, with clear pathways for key audiences including potential members, partners and the wider community.
Messaging was refined to communicate the value of the space quickly and confidently, helping users understand not just what Portershed is, but why it matters. Key information is surfaced early, reducing friction and making the next steps obvious.
Social proof plays a central role throughout the site. Member testimonials, community stories and event highlights help build trust and give a real sense of the culture and energy within Portershed. These elements reinforce the benefits of joining and bring the community to life in a way that feels authentic and credible.
The overall website brings together clarity, usability and character to reflect what Portershed represents. It balances practical information with a strong sense of community, ensuring the site works equally well as an introduction, a resource and a conversion tool.
Built on a flexible and easy-to-manage platform, the site allows the Portershed team to keep content up to date, promote events and evolve their offering over time. Performance, accessibility and responsiveness were key considerations, ensuring the experience works seamlessly across devices.
